Prince Farming's princess has arrived! Whitney Bischoff finally joined her fiancé, Bachelor Chris Soules, on his family's farm in Arlington, Iowa on Wednesday, May 13 — and it turns out that she's a natural at planting.
Soules, 33, who was booted off Dancing With the Stars last week, returned home smack in the center of planting season and just in time for Mother's Day. The season 19 Bachelor told Us Weekly at the Tomorrowland premiere on Sunday night that he and his fiancee of six months were planning to surprise his mom Linda Rae Soules, and take her out to dinner in their hometown.
"Keep it a secret until we get there!" he told Us at the time. "This is my last hurrah before the finale and I'm going to go home… and get some farming in before the finale. I've got to come back and rehearse on Wednesday or Thursday and so this is a little break. It's pretty cool!"
Bischoff, 29, also shared a photo en route to the Soules family home. "Road trippin #iowabound," she wrote on Sunday.
Life back on the farm has been picture-perfect, according to Soules' Instagram. The hot agrarian was not only back in his element, but his city girl Bischoff appears to be getting acclimated to rural life.
"Her first day planting corn! @whitb624 #farmerintraining." Soules wrote Wednesday, alongside a cute photo with the fertility nurse. Both Soules and Bischoff look like like they've already spent some time on the land planting and getting dirty.
The Bachelor also posted a pic of his fiancee driving a tractor. "She's a natural," he proudly noted alongside a pic of Bischoff steering the mega contraption on acres and acres of land.
Soules shared a photo of himself back to work on Tuesday. "My morning commute," he wrote, alongside a pic of himself behind the wheel of a tractor driving down a dirt road. "Sure don't miss that LA traffic!”
Since Soules' season of the Bachelor ended and he joined DWTS, he’s had to fend off rumors of trouble in his relationship. Soules told Us last Monday, May 4 that “all this” — as in celebrity culture and life in Hollywood — "this is is not real life. L.A. isn't real life for me. Arlington is and Chicago? That's real life, and we want to take that step and then we'll make those plans."
He noted: "We're together and we're in love and we're handling this like two adults. She’s got a life too and she's got a job, and she's got a career and she's doing that."
