Five-Year-Old Cancer Patient Addy Channels Katy Perry Through Make-A-Wish

Hear her roar! Five-year-old cancer patient Addy got her wish to become a pop star like Katy Perry granted through the Make-A-Wish foundation, and the result is amazing.

The charity helped Addy film her own music video to Perry's 2013 empowerment anthem "Roar."  The little girl, who was diagnosed with stage IV cancer at the age of 4, said the lyrics to "Roar" inspired her while she was undergoing treatment to fight the illness.

Addy, who underwent chemotherapy and radiation to beat the disease, sings in the astonishing pop-star-quality music video. She even takes style inspiration from Perry, 29, donning one of her trademark brightly colored wigs.

The Make-A-Wish foundation explained, "Addy fought and beat cancer, celebrating her victory with her wish come true – this incredible music video." The young woman added, "This is the most fun I ever had!"
