Jill Duggar, 23, married Derick Dillard, 25, on Saturday, June 21, in her hometown of Springdale, Arkansas.

The newlyweds exchanged vows just two months after Dillard proposed on April 9. "I love Derick's desire to follow God and to serve others," Duggar said at the time. "Derick is so romantic and the proposal was perfect."

Before proposing, Dillard asked his future bride's father Jim Bob Duggar for permission to marry Jill. He then presented her with a .63-carat solitaire diamond engagement ring.

The religious couple have made their faith a big part of their relationship. "Both of us want as many kids as God will give us," Duggar said in April before tying the knot.

Duggar prepped for her special day with the help of her little sister Jessa. Jessa got engaged soon after Jill, marrying her love Ben Seewald on Nov. 1, 2014.

Duggar's parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were a big part of her courtship with Dillard. "Courtship is really getting to know each other for the purpose of possibly getting engaged and getting married," Jim Bob said.

Married under a white canopy, the newlyweds registered for some useful items for their life as husband and wife. Their registries at Amazon, Walmart, and Bed Bath & Beyond included groceries such as cereal and instant noodles, gift cards to restaurants, and home tools like screwdrivers and a hammer.

Cutting Into Their Future

Just two months after they cut the cake at their wedding, the Dillards announced that they're expecting their first child together. The pair is welcoming a baby boy in 2015.
