Kate Middleton‘s brother-in-law attended a mission briefing at the British controlled flight-line at Camp Bastion. “I’m one of the guys,” Prince Harry said. “I don’t get treated any differently.”
The Apache helicopter pilot looked through his monocle gun sight while sitting in the front seat of the cockpit. "Everyone's fired a certain amount," Prince Harry said. "Probably a little bit more than this time last year, to a certain extent, but that's just the way that its balanced out."
Prince Harry and his fellow pilots raced out from the VHR (very high ready-ness) tent. "There's a lot of pressures, obviously, when we go and support the Americans or when we're escorting the [mobile hospital], but essentially, I think it's less stressful being up here than it is down there," he said.
The royal redhead showed a television crew his sleeping area and bed at the VHR tent. "I will always be here for my grandmother, and whoever needs to send me abroad for whatever reason," Prince Harry said. "I don't really have any plans. This was my main effort, to get back out to Afghanistan."
