He put a ring on it—again! Jay Z came to the rescue when Beyonce's jewelry got away from her on the red carpet at the 2014 Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday, May 5.
The "Pretty Hurts" singer, 32, was strutting her stuff at the Metropolitan Museum of Art when the ring she was wearing on her right hand fell off her finger. Fortunately, her doting husband was able to locate the lost bauble—but instead of just handing it back to her, he staged a mock proposal for the cameras.
Lowering himself to a bent position, the "Holy Grail" rapper, 44, took Beyonce's hand in his and lovingly slipped the jewelry back into place. She accepted, of course, with a huge smile on her face.

The "Drunk in Love" couple made quite a stunning pair at the annual event. As previously reported, Queen Bey rocked a crystal-studded Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci custom gown, while her hubby opted for a white grain de poudre jacket and black tux pants, also by Givenchy Haute Couture.
The duo are currently preparing for their upcoming On the Run tour, a joint concert series in the U.S. and in Canada. Pre-sale tickets for the summer shows were released in late April.
