Notorious Ohio “House of Horrors” mom Elizabeth Siders is facing new charges after she was accused of “engaging in sexual conduct” with a minor family member.
Elizabeth, 33, appeared in court on Wednesday, September 16, accused of engaging in sexual conduct with an individual between the ages of 13 and 16 who is also a member of her family, according to her indictment viewed by People.
In light of the new allegations, the mom is now facing two additional counts of sexual battery and two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Elizabeth did not reportedly speak during her latest court appearance, where her bail was set at $250,000, per the outlet. She was also ordered to have no contact with her husband, Gary Siders II.
Gary, 36, has also been hit with the same charges of sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Following the court appearance, Elizabeth’s lawyer, Thomas Stolly, said he is still waiting for the results of Elizabeth’s competency evaluation to come through.
“I have competency concerns when it comes to my client,” he said. “Part of the reason that I raise these competency concerns were, when we’re discussing these charges, we’re discussing the implications — the legal impact of serious felony charges like this — I’m not sure that she’s fully understanding the impact.”
Stolly added that Elizabeth is desperate to see her 16 children, whom she was previously ordered to have no contact with.
Vinton County Prosecutor William Archer said that the alleged sex abuse victim is not a member of Elizabeth’s immediate family. Instead, he said the “child sex abuse case involves intrafamily relations.”
The investigation into Elizabeth and Gary II began in December 2025 following “allegations of sexual abuse involving two children,” according to Vinton County Sheriff Ryan Cain.
Cain said that a second investigation began in March regarding alleged unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
In light of the findings from the investigation, a grand jury voted to indict both Elizabeth and Gary II on the sex abuse charges.
The couple’s legal troubles first made headlines in June, when they were arrested alongside his parents, Christina Siders and Gary Siders Sr, for keeping their 16 kids in a home riddled with horrifying conditions.
Elizabeth, Gary II and Christina, 67, are each facing 19 counts of child endangerment in connection with the case. Meanwhile, Gary Sr., 73, is facing 16 counts of child endangerment. (He was deemed not competent to stand trial on September 9 after taking a competency test.)
Elizabeth pleaded not guilty to all counts during the September 16 hearing, according to NBC 24. Gary II and Christina have also pleaded not guilty to the charges they’re facing.
