After Elizabeth Siders and Gary Siders Jr.’s 16 children were rescued from their Ohio “House of Horrors,” a state official revealed they’re facing additional charges in a separate case after they allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a minor.
Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson announced in a news release that Elizabeth, 33, and Gary Jr., 36, have been indicted on multiple charges after an investigation determined that they allegedly “engaged in sexual conduct with a minor more than 10 years younger than their own age.”
Wilson said that the minor was not a member of their immediate family and was more than 10 years younger than the couple at the time of the alleged incident, which authorities claim occurred between January 2022 and September 2022.
While their familial connection to the victim has not been revealed, Vinton County Prosecutor William Archer said that the “child sex abuse case involves intrafamily relations.”
Archer went on to say that deputies learned of the family’s living conditions when they were executing a warrant for Gary Jr.’s DNA in the child sex abuse case. While looking into Gary Jr., authorities discovered that Elizabeth, Gary Jr., his parents Christina Siders and Gary Siders Sr., and their 16 children were living inside the home in squalor.
A grand jury has indicted Elizabeth and Gary Jr. on two counts of sexual battery and two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. However, formal charges have not yet been publicly filed in that case.
The initial investigation into the couple began in December 2025 after they were hit with “allegations of sexual abuse involving two children,” according to Vinton County Sheriff Ryan Cain.
Cain said in a statement that a second investigation involving unlawful sexual conduct with a minor was opened in March.
Elizabeth, Gary Jr., Christina, 68, and Gary Sr., 73, were indicted by that same grand jury on charges related to the rescue of the 16 children. After the children were taken from the home on June 30, Elizabeth, Gary Jr., Christina were hit with 19 counts of child endangerment. Meanwhile, Gary Sr. was charged with 17 counts.
All four adult family members have pleaded not guilty to the initial charges.
The 16 children are currently in the care of the county while their parents remain in jail. Officials said they are working on establishing treatment options and access for the children to assist them in processing the traumatic experiences they allegedly endured at the hands of their parents and grandparents.
