Hulu planned out its April releases in a very deliberate way, which is probably why the streamer had something appropriate for a 4/20 release this month.

While The Testaments and other shows continue to dominate Hulu’s film and TV chart, 4×20 Quick Hits offers something a little different.

That’s the first pick for Watch With Us‘ roundup of the three popular Hulu movies and TV shows.

Our remaining selections include a sequel in a film franchise that’s all over the top 15, as well as a musical rom-com that initially went under the radar.

‘4×20 Quick Hits’ (2026)

For this year’s 4/20, Hulu’s got a little reefer madness with 4×20 Quick Hits, an anthology series of short documentaries that have one thing in common — almost everyone involved is very passionate about cannabis. Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle fans may especially enjoy the installment that revisits the modern classic stoner film starring John Cho, Kal Penn and Neil Patrick Harris.

One of the other subjects is a look back at the history of High Times, the pro-cannabis magazine that’s been around for decades. The story of how that magazine got started may be well-known in the cannabis culture, but it’s likely to be brand-new information for anyone who’s been on the outside. It’s interesting viewing, but even more so if cannabis is your thing.

4×20 Quick Hits is streaming on Hulu.

‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ (2013)

The first Hunger Games film didn’t put Jennifer Lawrence on the map, but it did cement her as a box-office draw that turned the franchise into a massive hit. That’s probably why the original is so fondly remembered, but the second film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, is also a top-tier action flick that deserves recognition for expanding the world and paving the way for further sequels and prequels.

Following the first-ever joint victory in the history of the Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) are forced to pretend they’re in love to avoid the wrath of President Coriolanus Snow (Donald Sutherland). Snow correctly realizes that Katniss in particular is seen as a symbol of rebellion, so he concocts a plan to silence her once and for all. The 75 Hunger Games forces most of the living winners to participate, including Katniss and Peeta. This time, they’re up against the men and women who won their own Hunger Games, and they don’t know who they can trust.

‘Up Here’ (2023)

Musical fans may have missed the rom-com series Up Here when it debuted in 2023, but it offers a welcome respite from reality. Mae Whitman leads the cast as Lindsay, a woman who has been haunted by the voices of her parents and friends her whole life. Listening to the voices put Lindsay on a course to marry Ned (George Hampe), a man she doesn’t really love or desire.

Once Lindsay realizes what she really wants, she ditches Ned, ignores the voices and attempts to give herself a fresh start in a new city. That’s where she meets Miguel (Carlos Valdes), a guy who’s dealing with some voices of his own. Their common struggle may bring Lindsay and Miguel into a romantic relationship. But whether they can hold on to each other when things get tough remains to be seen.
