Order in the court! CBS’s new legal drama, Cupertino, is gearing up to be your next unapologetic TV obsession.
Scheduled to premiere this October, the show follows Silicon Valley lawyers Michael Price (Mike Colter) and Olivia Siffre (Rachel Keller) who join forces after being fired by a tech start-up to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.
Embracing their underdog status, the two join forces with Michael’s former assistant, Christy Palladino (Ella Stiller), as she leverages her personal connections to aid the firm in its early stages.
With their small but mighty team, Michael and Olivia navigate a revolving door of new clients and old flames appearing on the opposite side of the courtroom in this exhilarating new drama.
The show is written and produced by Emmy-nominated producers Robert and Michelle King, who are also the creators of The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Elsbeth, and Evil. Cupertino premieres on Thursday, Oct. 8 on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

Mike Colter
Mike Colter stars as lawyer Michael Price in this exciting new drama. After being cheated out of his stock options and wrongfully terminated by a Silicon Valley tech giant, Price takes matters into his own hands to represent those taken advantage of.
Colter is best known onscreen for his titular role on Marvel’s Luke Cage, which he played from 2016 to 2018. He later played David Acosta on the Paramount+ original Evil from 2019 to 2024. Throughout his career, he’s also appeared in blockbusters including Men in Black 3, Extinction and Plane.
The actor tied the knot with his wife, Iva Colter, in 2002, and the pair share two daughters.
Rachel Keller
Rachel Keller stars as lawyer Olivia Siffre, a shy yet determined recent law school graduate who, alongside Price, is wrongfully terminated from her position at Silicon Valley tech giant. Having originally fled to California to escape her overprotective parents and their Christian ideals, she starts to truly find her voice after finding a new purpose in getting justice for herself and others.
Keller earned her first big Hollywood credit with a recurring role on the FX series Fargo, later landing the role of Syd Barrett on Legion. She’s also credited in a number of films, including In the Shadow of the Moon (2019), Butcher’s Crossing (2022) and A Man Called Otto (2022).
Ella Stiller
Ella Stiller plays the role of Christy Palladino, Michael’s former assistant who is well connected in the Bay Area. Palladino joins Price & Siffre, subsequently tapping into her endless network to help Michael and Olivia get their law firm up and running.
Ella is the daughter of actors Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor. She studied acting at The Julliard School, graduating in 2024. Some of her film appearances include Hubie Halloween (2020), Happy Gilmore 2 (2020) and Driver’s Ed. She’s also appeared on shows including And Just Like That… and The Comeback.
Busy Philipps
Busy Philipps is joining the Cupertino cast as Natalia, the ex-wife of the third richest man in America. When presented with the opportunity to get back at her ex, Natalia makes the tactful decision to team up with Michael and Olivia, using both her money and resources to aid the firm in their endeavors.
Philipps first made a name for herself on the beloved teen drama Freaks and Geeks, where her role as Kim Kelly made her a household name. She later joined the cast of Dawson’s Creek from 2001 to 2003, also appearing on shows including Love, Inc, ER and Cougar Town. Her film credits include Made of Honor (2008), FML (2016) and Mean Girls (2024).
The actress was married to Marc Silverstein from 2007 to 2021, and the two share daughters Birdie and Cricket.
Renee Elise Goldsberry
Renee Elise Goldsberry plays the role of Nichole E. Ferebee, an opposing attorney who has a romantic history with Michael. With both her wit and the history between the two, viewers are sure to witness some tension between the pair as their high-stakes legal battles unfold.
From 1999 to 2007, Goldsberry played Evangeline Williamson on the soap opera One Life to Live. She made her mainstream breakthrough in 2015, originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in the Broadway production of Hamilton. Her performance as Angelica earned her a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. On screen, she’s also appeared in projects including The Good Wife, Netflix’s Altered Carbon, Albany Road and A House of Dynamite.
Goldsberry wed attorney Alexis Johnson in 2002, and the pair welcomed their first child, son Benjamin, in 2009. In 2014, they adopted a second child, daughter Brielle, from Africa.
Nik Dodani
Nik Dodani will appear as Vik Malhotra, a talented coder seeking help from Price & Siffre. After realizing his company doesn’t have his best interest in mind, he seeks out Michael and Olivia to represent him in a desperate attempt to save his case before he loses it all.
Dodani has established himself as a major presence in the film industry, making early appearances in movies including Tooken, The Good Neighbor and Alex Strangelove. In 2017, he joined the cast of Netflix’s coming of age drama Atypical, in which he played the role of Zahid until it ended in 2021. He has also dabbled in writing and producing and, in 2023, he coproduced Life of Pi on Broadway.
Rob McClure
Rob McClure is joining the cast of Cupertino as Bo, a potential client of Michael and Olivia’s firm who approaches them looking for representation.
McClure is best known for his stage career, making his Broadway debut in the 2002 production of I’m Not Rappaport. In 2013, he was nominated for a Tony Award following his performance in Chaplin. He later went on to lead the cast of productions including Something Rotten!, Mrs. Doubtfire and Spare Parts. On screen, he’s best known for his appearance in projects such as The Spine of Night, Evil and Elsbeth.
McClure has been married to Maggie Lakis since 2009, and the couple shares one daughter.
Joe Morton
Joe Morton appears in Cupertino as Bayard, Michael’s celebrity lawyer father. As the season progresses, viewers are sure to watch the contentious relationship between him and his son.
The Emmy winner boasts a decades-long career, first landing recurring roles on shows like Search for Tomorrow, Watch Your Mouth and Another World. In 2014, he was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Rowan Pope on Scandal. He later landed roles on shows including God Friended Me, Our Kind of People and Going Dutch.
Morton was previously wed to Nora Chavooshian, but the pair divorced in 2006. They share daughters Hopi and Set, as well as son Ara.
Steven Pasquale
Steven Pasquale is joining the cast of Cupertino as Ry, a veteran, no-nonsense Silicon Valley lawyer who is certain to be a major asset in the courtroom.
Pasquale made his television debut on Six Feet Under, making early appearances in films including Aurora Borealis and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. He became a household name after landing the role of Sean Garitty on Rescue Me, which he played from 2004 to 2011. He has also earned credits on shows including The Good Wife, Doubt, The Prophecy and The Four Seasons.
Pasquale tied the knot with Hamilton actress Philipa Soo in 2017.
