It’s here! On Friday, Nov. 20, Adele released her highly anticipated third studio album, 25. After four years of waiting, her fans finally got a fresh dose of the Grammy-winning star’s standout vocals and emotional ballads.
To honor the occasion, the typically social media-shy Brit, 27, posted an open letter to her fans on her personal accounts.
“this feels like such a long time coming, my new album is finally out,” she wrote. “i am so overwhelmed and grateful to be able to even put another record out, and put it out how i want. the last month has been a whirlwind, its literally taken my breath away. i hope you enjoy the record as much as i enjoyed making it for you. see you on the other side… love adele x.”
Prior to the album’s release, Adele debuted her singles “Hello” and “When We Were Young” to rave reviews and record-breaking YouTube views.
Fans will have to purchase Adele’s new album as she has opted not to feature it on any streaming sites like Spotify and Apple Music. Her last record, 21, won six Grammys back in 2012.
