Checking in! American Horror Story veteran Lily Rabe is finalizing a deal to appear in Season 5 of the FX horror anthology series.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the AHS alum is in talks to play a serial killer in the upcoming American Horror Story: Hotel.
The actress is set to play a “famous murderer who has stayed at the titular hotel,” the site reports. Seemingly confirming the news, the official AHS twitter added the note, “A familiar face just wandered into the Hotel lobby,” with a link to the story.
Rabe reprised her Asylum role of Sister Mary Eunice in a flashback during Freak Show, and played a ghost in Season 1’s Murder House and a Stevie Nicks-worshipping witch in Season 3’s Coven.
Creator Ryan Murphy said at San Diego Comic-Con in mid-July that Hotel will reinforce the idea that all of the AHS seasons are linked, with characters from past years checking in to the Hotel.
Fellow AHS vets Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Finn Wittrock, Emma Roberts, and many more have already signed on to return to the show in Hotel.
AHS: Hotel is set to premiere in the fall on FX.
