Ben Higgins gave his final rose on the ‘Bachelor’ finale, and the new Bachelorette has been chosen.
As Chris Harrison announced during the After the Final Rose special on Monday, March 14, Higgins’ runner-up, 24-year-old Fletcher, will have her pick of eligible bachelors on season 12 of The Bachelorette. (Second runner-up Caila Quinn was initially tapped for the gig, but proved to be a polarizing choice among viewers.)

Fletcher, meanwhile, became a fan favorite this season. After the finale, many people took to Twitter to lament the fact that Higgins, 26, chose Bushnell, 25, over the real estate developer from Dallas, Texas.
