Here’s hoping that ABC stocks up on extra shirts! After JoJo Fletcher sent a whopping five guys packing over the course of two rose ceremonies during The Bachelorette‘s Monday, June 20, episode, a producer for the show revealed that three of those deposed guys are heading for a shot at romantic redemption on Bachelor in Paradise.
Bachelorette producer Elan Gale posted a pic to Instagram on Tuesday, June 21, that showed photos of season 12’s Grant, Evan and Vinny. “Welcome to paradise,” Gale captioned the image. He added piano-key emoticons, an apparent reference to the 1992 Green Day tune “Welcome to Paradise.”
Evan was a key figure in Bachelorette season 12, particularly due to his feud with notorious villain and milk connoisseur Chad. After Evan suggested onstage in a comedy bit during the Monday, June 6, episode that Chad uses steroids, the luxury real estate agent confronted the erectile dysfunction specialist and tore his (apparently beloved) shirt. Later on in that date, Evan told Fletcher that he refused to stay on the show if Chad wasn’t sent home, which led to Evan earning the group date rose, although Chad survived until the two-on-one date in the following episode.
Grant’s brightest moment may have come back in the May 30 episode, when he won the firefighting competition — not that one would expect anything less from the season’s only actual firefighter.
Vinny has largely stayed under the radar, but the barber was featured prominently while giving the guys haircuts in the June 20 episode as they read a volatile tabloid interview with Fletcher’s ex-boyfriend Chad Rookstool.
More season 12 alums are likely to join the Paradise cast as Fletcher’s stint winds down.
Previously confirmed to take part in Bachelor in Paradise season 3 are such Bachelor Nation standouts as two-time Bachelorette runner-up Nick Viall; Ben Higgins‘ Bachelor season 20 castoffs Amanda Stanton, Lace Morris and Jubilee Sharpe; and, of course, the one and only Chad. Translation: Keep a needle and thread handy, Evan.
