JJ Lane and Tanner Tolbert may not have won Kaitlyn Bristowe's heart, but they did win something else — two tickets to Paradise! Sources confirm to Us Weekly that the newly ousted Bachelorette stars are headed to Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Both Lane, 30, and Tolbert, 28, were eliminated from the race for Bristowe's affection on the June 29 episode of The Bachelorette. Lane's goodbye came after he admitted to cheating on his now-ex-wife while they were married — something Bristowe described as her "biggest fear in a relationship."
"I made a mistake that basically has destroyed my life," he shared. "I lost everything. I lost my wife. I lost my daughter half the time. Everything I had worked hard for was gone with one bad, terrible decision."
That decision ended up costing him a possible future with Bristowe, too. She sent him home after his confession, later eliminating Tolbert and Ben Zorn, too.
Lane and Tolbert will have a second chance at love when they join fellow Bachelorette castoff Jonathan Holloway and several other Bachelor Nation alums on Bachelor in Paradise. (Reality Steve posted the cast list in full earlier this month.)
Previously announced cast members for the spinoff include Ashley Salter, Clare Crawley, Jillian Anderson, Jade Roper, Carly Waddell, Ashley Iaconetti, Tenley Molzahn, Juelia Kinney, Dan Cox, Kirk Dewindt, and Mikey Tenerelli. There's also one more TBA Bachelor from Bristowe's group of men, plus late addition Jaclyn Swartz.
Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise premieres on Sunday, Aug. 2, and Monday, Aug. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
