Chris Soules should've brushed up on his romantic comedies before he began his turn on The Bachelor. In his final days, the Iowan farmer, 33, seemed to be in the sequel to the 2009 relationship special, a reinvented She's Just Not That Into You starring himself and finalist Becca Tilley.
Soules struggled to choose between Tilley, 25, and eventual winner Whitney Bischoff, getting some help in his decision-making process in the lack of enthusiasm Tilley showed for Soules and his life in Iowa.
Asked outright by Soules' mother how she feels about Prince Farming, Tilley responds, "I'm not at a point where I'm in love with him." While Bischoff reiterated her feelings and her willingness to move immediately to Iowa, Tilley hesitated to commit fully to the fought-over man.
As Soules gushes about Tilley and the chemistry they share, she admits about their relationship, "I'm not there yet… Am I supposed to feel a certain way?"
"It's going to be long-distance," she added, revealing that she has little intention to become an Arlington, Iowa resident. "I told him, you know, 'I'm not gonna pick up my life and move anywhere.'"
