Getting in on the action! Benedict Cumberbatch was back to his photobombing tricks at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan 11 — jumping into Michael Keaton‘s shot of Meryl Streep and Margaret Cho (dressed as North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un)!
The classic photobomb moment occurred during a funny sketch where hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler roped Streep into a joke poking fun at the Sony hack drama and its possible links to North Korea.
But while Streep somewhat nervously played along with the show hosts, posing for a photo with Cho in her full dictator uniform, Brit star Cumberbatch just couldn’t resist getting in on the act.
As Keaton moved forward to take the photo on his cell phone, Cumberbatch leapt up for what is quickly becoming a trademark awards ceremony move for the Doctor Strange star.
Last year, the newly married actor (and future dad) made his mark on the Academy Awards red carpet, leaping into a photo that Bono and the rest of the U2 band were posing for.
After the Oscars, Cumberbatch blamed his Cumberbombing on awards host Ellen DeGeneres, whose production team, he said, was handing out airplane bottles of vodka on the red carpet. Who’s to blame this time, Benedict?!
