Drake’s hotline was definitely bling-ing when the 2016 BET Awards nominations were announced Friday, May 20. The “Back to Back” rapper scored nine nominations while BET Awards regulars Beyoncé and Rihanna each racked up five.

Although Beyoncé’s Lemonade dropped in April and was ineligible for consideration this year, both “Formation” and “Feeling Myself” — her collaboration with Nicki Minaj — were enough to help Queen Bey out.

The biggest surprise on the list, arguably, is Adele’s nomination for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist! Although she's won 10 Grammy Awards, this is the very first BET Award nomination for the "Hello" singer.
