Bey in Britain! The 2014 BRIT Awards welcomed Beyonce to its stage on Wednesday, Feb. 19. Singing her love-fused new single "XO," the Grammy winner, 32, stepped out in a dazzling, sparkly teal floor-length down.
Wearing her hair long and wavy, Queen Bey's style was vastly different from her sexed up performance that opened the 2014 Grammys in late January.
In the raunchy rendition of her single "Drunk In Love," the mother of 2-year-old Blue Ivy took to the stage with a short, wet 'do and a risqué bra and Nicholas de Carle bodysuit. Grinding up on her husband of almost six years, Jay Z, Beyonce received both praise and criticism for her nationally-televised Grammys performance.
But few could find fault with her classy, simplistic "XO" in Wednesday night's show. On a fog-covered stage, Beyonce's resplendent ensemble shone as brightly as her powerful vocals.
Viewers were also treated to top-notch performances from Lorde, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, and Ellie Goulding as host James Corden poked fun at the A-List guests, particularly the boys of One Direction.
