1, 2, 3! Billy Eichner and Jon Hamm scour the streets of New York City searching for women and men to have a threesome with in a preview for the Tuesday, November 15, season 5 premiere of Billy on the Street.
In the clip above, Eichner, 38, and the handsome Mad Men alum, 45, approach random strangers and offer them $1 if they agree to an impromptu ménage à trois.
“In an attempt to stay current and stay ahead of some inevitable pseudo-highbrow HBO series about living as a threesome,” the comedian-actor jokingly says at the beginning of the video, “I’m about to hit the street with Emmy Award–winner Jonathan Hamm to play a new game I like to call ‘Would You Have a Threesome With Me and Jon Hamm?’”
When the good-looking duo begin approaching pedestrians, asking if they’d be willing to participate in a threesome, several women immediately turn them down because they’re married. However, it only takes the tiniest push to finally persuade one of the ladies. “[Your husband] would want you to have a threesome with the star of Mad Men!” Eichner persists. “I know he doesn’t have great buzz at the moment, but he’s still a handsome fella.”
Adds Hamm: “I used to! Imagine that it was 2009.”
“Yes, a threesome with 2016 Billy Eichner, but 2009 Jon Hamm! Yes?” Eichner coaxes, to which the woman concedes: “OK!”
Though they had to really coerce the women of Manhattan to say yes, Eichner and Hamm had a much easier time with the guys they spoke to. “I would totally do that!” says one man, while another enthuses: “Sure why not? Sounds like a great time.”
