The Breaking Bad star, 59, was speaking at a Conversations for a Cause panel at Nerd HQ when a fan from Albuquerque, N.M., asked about the actor's experience filming his AMC show in the city. (Cranston was at Comic-Con to promote the Crackle comedy SuperMansion."

"My question is — because I grew up in Albuquerque — was there any cool places, anything that you liked being there? How was it?" the fan inquired. "It's my hometown, so I want to know. How'd you like it? Did you have fun there?"

Without missing a beat, Cranston replied, "Yeah, I'd go and visit your mother once in a while."

The crowd went wild for the epic burn, prompting the Malcolm in the Middle alum to hold up his microphone and then literally drop it in a dramatic flourish. Walter White, ladies and gentlemen. (Watch below, starting at 9:08:24.)

Cranston kept the joke going, too. After speaking earnestly about why he thinks the fans at Comic-Con are so "refreshing," he said, "I love you guys. But, I will say, I love his mother more. A little bit more."
