Not really a Party City costume. Cara Delevingne is absolutely terrifying as her Suicide Squad’s devilish character, Enchantress. The model-actress looks unrecognizable (seriously, is that her?) on the cover of Empire magazine’s December 2015 issue.
Delevingne’s nightmarish appearance was first pointed out by Suicide Squad director David Ayer on Tuesday, Oct. 27. “She’s making her own rules,” Ayer captioned the cover via Twitter.
In the photo, Enchantress — surrounded by skulls — looks fierce in a cleavage-baring bikini and a chocker necklace, while accessorizing with chains. To top it off, her disturbing expression is merciless.
“She’s an ancient sorceress. A feral being,” Delevingne, 23, told the mag. “She’s been trapped for so long and now she’s finally let out.” (This is the Marvel character’s live-action movie debut.)
Ayer simultaneously posted Jared Leto’s Suicide Squad getup on Tuesday, too. The Oscar winner, 43, is ripped, ruthless, and, um, really, really rough around the edges as The Joker.
The action thriller also stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Ben Affleck (Batman), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller).
Suicide Squad hits theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
