Channing Tatum Transforms Into Frozen’s Elsa and Lip-Synchs Let It Go

Elsa? On the upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle, Hateful Eight actor Channing Tatum relinquishes his traditional tough guy roles for a softer transformation: as Queen Elsa from Disney's 2013 animated hit Frozen.

The preview released on Monday, January 4, shows Tatum in head-to-toe princess gear, including Elsa's trademark sparkly periwinkle blue gown and platinum braided hairstyle. The actor, who faced off against his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, during the taping, prances across the stage as he lip-synchs "Let It Go," which Idina Menzel, who voiced Elsa in the film, made a smash hit.

Tatum, 35, must have taken a few pointers from his baby girl, Everly — he expertly twirls around while flanked by dancing snowflakes (er, men dressed in skintight latex suits with elaborate headpieces). The actor gets so into the song at one point that he even sprinkles fake snow on the audience.

Meanwhile, his wife looks stunned as she witnesses the hilarious havoc from her side of the stage. In a separate sneak peek last month, the 22 Jump Street star joked about donning Elsa's coveted attire. "I just really hope that my marriage isn't over after tonight," he shared with fans.

Dewan Tatum also joked about the performance on Monday simply by tweeting a series of emojis.
