Chelsea Handler Plays Naughty Prank on Pal Heather McDonald

Life on the road can be tough — especially when you're on tour with notorious pranksters like Chelsea Handler, Brad Wollack and Josh Wolf.

"It's not been going great," comedienne Heather McDonald said during a recent visit to Us Weekly's NYC offices. "The other night, I went to bed — because I'm a respectable mother — and they convinced the [concierge] to give them a key. So when I was sleeping, I thought someone was trying to come in and rape me."

The Chelsea Lately writer added that she doesn't often retaliate with tricks of her own. "They are definitely more the instigators," McDonald, 41, told Us. "I always seem to be the victim."

Fortunately, experiences like those are providing plenty of material for her second book. (McDonald's first memoir, You'll Never Blue Ball in this Town Again, was published in June 2010.)

"It's going to relate to working on Chelsea Lately and being one of the few female stand-up comediennes who's also married and a mother," she explained. "I have a very inappropriate work life mixed in with my kids going to Catholic school."
