Prince Farming is looking for his happily ever after! ABC released a new promo for the upcoming season of The Bachelor on Monday, Nov. 24, featuring hunky farmer Chris Soules and his many (and rather emotional!) bachelorettes.
The preview begins with Soules meeting Andi Dorfman and ultimately saying goodbye to the season 10 Bachelorette. It then flashes to the handsome season 19 Bachelor preparing to meet his dozens of beautiful contenders.
“I am the luckiest man alive,” the 32-year-old Midwesterner gushes. “I really do believe I can find that special someone.” Overwhelmed at having so many women vying for his affection, Soules even receives a playful slap from longtime host Chris Harrison who urges him to “get it together!”
What the new Bachelor is not prepared for is essentially spoiled by the preview’s narrator: “With more women comes more drama. More tears… A lot more tears.” Most dramatic of all, however, is a blurred pregnancy test found in a trash bin. The clip ends with the promise of “a whole new season… pregnant with possibilities.”
Us Weekly broke the news in August that Soules was the next Bachelor. “Coming from a small town, I’d never really expected to have this opportunity to be on either show, let alone be the lead on The Bachelor,” Soules later said on Good Morning America. “So it’s been awesome. I’m humbled, flattered, grateful.”
Soules’ season of The Bachelor premieres on Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Watch the preview above!
