Thor better have my money! Chris Hemsworth put a new spin on Rihanna‘s latest No. 1 single, “Work,” by giving a dramatic reading of the song’s lyrics during a BBC Radio 1 interview on Thursday, March 31.
The Huntsman: Winter’s War star, 32, was a guest on Nick Grimshaw‘s morning show, where the host got the hunky Australian actor to give a serious reading of its lyrics — “Work, work, work, work, work, he said me haffi” — making them sound particularly nonsensical.
“Just drummed up a lot of feelings and emotions and past experiences — that was fun,” Hemsworth joked about the bit.
“Makes you want to just get to work too,” he continued. “Hear that, kids? Get a job.”
Rihanna’s own rendition of “Work,” which features Drake and is a bit more club ready than Hemsworth’s version, is currently at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the sixth consecutive week.
The song is the first single off her album Anti, which was released in January.
