Stop trying to make an apology happen? Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan have an emotional discussion about their past in Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn‘s season 1 finale on Wednesday, May 18, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek.
The VH1 series’ footage shows Dina, 53, telling Dr. Jenn Mann that appearing on the show helped her “discard all the pain from our relationship.” She and Michael, 56, have four kids together, including Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan, and the pair divorced in 2007 after 22 years of marriage.
Mann asks the Living Lohan alum whether she has anything to say to Michael after he apologizes for causing her pain. Dina is silent for a moment, causing Michael to get frustrated, but then she finally opens up.
“I just want to say to you that I’m sorry for the part that I contributed to you not being around your kids,” the momager says. “I see now how painful that was for you, and I’m sorry for that.”
