Dodged a bullet! Bachelorette contestant Ryan M. made a name for himself on the season 11 premiere on Monday, May 18, when he was kicked off the show for his alcohol-fueled antics.
Long before Bachelorettes Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe thankfully missed their chances with the Kansas City native thanks to host Chris Harrison, however, another member of Bachelor Nation called things off with Ryan. A source confirms to Us Weekly that the junkyard specialist previously dated Bachelor star Nikki Ferrell.
The nurse practitioner, who competed on Juan Pablo Galavis' 18th, notorious season of The Bachelor, was in a relationship with Ryan before she went on the ABC dating show. After parting ways with Galavis this past October, Ferrell, 28, tuned into Monday's season premiere to catch the next crop of hopefuls looking for love.
Ferrell tweeted sparsely about the show, voicing her affection for "Shawn B, Tanner, and the guy w the southern drawl, because who really needs to know his name w that accent…" but chose not to comment on her ex-boyfriend's appearance on The Bachelorette.
Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman, who became very good friends with Ferrell on The Bachelor, however, did weigh in on Ryan and his disastrous evening. The disgraced contestant made waves when he inappropriately slapped Bristowe's backside and made a rape joke to a fellow castmate.
"And then Ryan never got another date again…. Hands off my @kaitlynbristowe "ass" #TheBachelorette," Dorfman tweeted, going on to reference host Harrison's decision to boot Ryan from the show. "Papa @chrisbharrison taking care of business! #DadOfTheYear #TheBachelorette."
