Erin Andrews is cheering on her husband, Jarret Stoll, after he made a cameo in Taylor Swift’s latest project.
After Swift, 36, premiered the music video for her new single “Patient Zero” at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 27, Andrews, 48, celebrated her husband’s brief appearance in the finished product.
“Couple of champions right there!” Andrews wrote via Instagram Story on Sunday while sharing a fan’s photo of the music video.
In the original post, a user stepped away from a football game to see if she could catch Swift’s new project.
“Quick game break to watch the new Taylor Swift video and who do I see??!” the user wrote. “And I’m pretty sure that’s @JarretStoll28?!! @ErinAndrews please confirm.”
After accepting the inaugural Artist Director Honors at the VMAs, Swift premiered the video starring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
The video begins with Swift joining Johnson, 36, in a cemetery before footage flashes back to the Verity actress appearing melancholy over her romance with Farrell, 50. Cara Delevingne, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, and Stoll, 44, later appear in the special project.
“I want to thank @dakotajohnson and Colin for trusting me with their time, taste and talent (Giggling with your friend because you’re twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience),” Swift wrote via Instagram on Sunday. “And Colin’s turn as a villain is even more impressive when you get to be around him. He’s an absolute light and as kind as they come. @caradelevingne, thank you for agreeing to play the lusty other woman. That’s what friends are for?”
While Andrews was hard at work covering the NFL for Fox on Sunday, Swift was celebrating her success at MTV’s annual awards show.
During the live telecast, the singer — who wore a Tamara Ralph dress — accepted the award for Video of the Year thanks to “The Fate of Ophelia.”
“I want to thank and dedicate this award to one person, without whom this wouldn’t be happening, and that person is the ultimate showgirl, Dolly Parton,” she said in her acceptance speech. “Every single song that she wrote, her storytelling was so vivid and so rich. … Listening to her songs, it’s like watching the best music video you have ever seen in your life every single time you hear what she has written.”
The singer also received Best Direction for “Opalite.”
Although Travis Kelce was unable to attend the show because of game day, the Kansas City Chiefs player was caught “liking” several of Billboard’s Instagram posts as his wife arrived at the awards show at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Andrews has joked she played matchmaker for the couple, who wed in July, after publicly urging Swift to date Kelce, 36, in 2023. The sportscaster has since become friends with both stars.
