Bring on the real-life friction! Ryan Murphy‘s new FX series Feud hasn’t even gone into production yet on its first season, but the internet is already abuzz about which on-set feud the show should focus on next.
FX announced on Thursday, May 5, that it has picked up Feud for an eight-episode season that will premiere on an unspecified date in 2017. The show will star Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis and Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford in the story of the late actresses’ bitter feud during the filming of their campy 1962 Oscar-winning thriller What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
Shortly after news of the series broke, Twitter users posted suggestions for real-life beefs that would be good for season 2, along with the hashtag #FeudSeason2.
Tweets have urged Murphy and his team to consider devoting a season to The Good Wife’s Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi — long the subject of feud rumors leading up to Panjabi’s departure from the CBS drama in May 2015 at the end of season 6 — and Castle‘s Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic. Katic will exit at the end of the ABC procedural’s currently airing eighth season. As Us Weekly previously reported, there has been tension between the longtime Castle costars for years.
But who would you most like to see Feud pick? Check out the suggestions in the tweets below, and let us know your choice!
