G-Eazy may be topping the charts with his hit single “Me, Myself & I,” and he might have worked with notable names such as Chris Brown and Big Sean, but the 26-year-old rapper likes to kick back with some tunes while on the road. The Oakland, California, native — who is currently on his When It’s Dark Out tour in North America, shared his travel playlist, exclusively with Us Weekly.
“Not My Job” by Mac Dre: “Mac Dre is a legend where I’m from. I grew up listening to him and still do. I can put on any of his albums on a flight or a long drive and vibe.”
“Dance Yrself Clean” by LCD Soundsystem: “I remember where I was the first time I heard this, and it always kind of takes me back there. Good times.”
“Award Tour” by A Tribe Called Quest: “I dreamed about touring and living the life they described on this record when I was a kid, so I relate to it differently these days.”
“The Genesis” by Nas: “I put Illmatic on and never skip anything. Just run it from the top.”
“Spaceship” by Kanye West: “One of my favorite Yeezy records ever! I related to it at the time, and it always reminds me to be thankful of how blessed I am to be where I’m at now. It takes me back to where I was at that time.
“I’m So Tired” by The Beatles: “I’m a big Beatles fan and this is one of my favorite John Lennon songs. But in a literal sense, the road can get so draining that I actually feel like that song.”
“All I Need” by Radiohead: “This song kind of takes me away from wherever I’m at and puts me in a different place. I need that on the road sometimes.”
