It appears the “something blue” at this wedding might be someone’s mood. Owen (Kevin McKidd) tries his best to coax Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) out of the locked bathroom on the day of their nuptials in Grey’s Anatomy‘s season 12 finale on Thursday, May 19. And what’s more romantic than hiding in the bathroom, right?
After an on-and-off romance, Amelia popped the question to her beau in last week’s episode. But a preview clip from the finale shows Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) supporting the bride-to-be, who has locked herself in after her family refused to attend the rushed ceremony.
Finally, Owen arrives and attempts to comfort his distraught fiancée through the door: “They don’t get it, and they don’t have to. I do, and I’ll be there. And the only one I want there is you.”
