Cue the goose bumps! This past weekend was a bit like Christmas for Harry Potter fans, who found out that there is actually a wizarding school in the U.S. and got a sneak peek at the eagerly anticipated spinoff movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The new video, released online on Saturday, January 30, is a behind-the-scenes featurette featuring interviews with star Eddie Redmayne, his castmates and director David Yates.
“It’s just unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of,” Redmayne, 34, said during the almost 3-minute clip, which showed snippets of scenes from the film. “It’s like imagination taken to the extreme.”
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is writing the screenplay for the movie, which is set in New York City in 1926. It tells the story of Newt Scamander (Redmayne), who is visiting the city when his suitcase full of mystical creatures is opened.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which also stars Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell and Alison Sudol, is out November 18.
