Watch This Shot-By-Shot Comparison of the New ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Trailer and the 1991 Movie

The official trailer for 2017’s Beauty and the Beast was released yesterday, and Movie Pilot noticed something very familiar about the new scenes and how they compare to the footage from the 1991 animated classic.

You may have to watch the video more than once to fully capture the magic, but trust Us, the new scenes come pretty close to the old ones. From the opening shot of the Beast’s castle, down to every spoken line, the original movie and the new trailer line up perfectly.

The new remake features a star-studded cast, including Harry Potter’s Emma Watson as Belle, and Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens as the Beast. Luke Evans as Gaston, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Audra McDonald as Wardrobe, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, among others, also star.

The new trailer officially gives Us a look at Belle’s iconic golden gown as she and the Beast twirl around the dance floor, all of the castle’s animated workers and, of course, that enchanted rose.

If the trailer means anything, we can expect the new live-action film will stay true to its 1991 predecessor, albeit, with a slightly more human feel to it.

The film will be released on March 17, 2017, but for now, satisfy your Disney craving with this cool video.
