Hugh Jackman performed an impromptu duet with girlfriend Sutton Foster during her concert in Idaho on Thursday, August 6.
According to a video shared via social media, Jackman, 57, joined Foster, 51, on stage at the Sun Valley Music Festival in Ketchum, Idaho. The Broadway actress, who was the gala’s featured artist, wore a dazzling yellow sequin gown. The Oscar nominee opted for a classic blue suit.
The couple sang the duet “A Million Dreams” from Jackman’s movie The Greatest Showman. (He performs the song with costar Michelle Williams in the hit 2017 musical.)
“They can say, they can say it all sounds crazy / They can say, they can say I’ve lost my mind / I don’t care, I don’t care, so call me crazy / We can live in a world that we design,” Foster serenaded Jackman while staring into his eyes.
Jackman continued the showstopping number by singing to the crowd before locking eyes with Foster.
“’Cause every night I lie in bed / The brightest colors fill my head / A million dreams are keeping me awake,” he sang as he approached Foster. “I think of what the world could be / A vision of the one I see / A million dreams is all it’s gonna take / Oh, a million dreams for the world we’re gonna make.”
Jackman and Foster were longtime friends before their connection turned romantic after costarring in the Broadway revival of The Music Man from 2021 to 2023.
“He has an impeccable reputation of being the hardest working man, incredibly kind and generous — and all of that is true. He disarms everyone, and he doesn’t make anything about him,” Foster gushed of her then-costar in a June 2022 interview with Vogue. “And he’s now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise, because you usually go into these things thinking, ‘Well, I hope we get along.’ But we just spent Memorial Day with our families. It’s really fun to meet new friends after 40.”
Jackman announced in September 2023 that he and wife Deborra-Lee Furness had separated after 27 years of marriage. (The exes’ divorce wasn’t finalized until June 2025.)
One year after Jackman announced his and Furness’ split, Foster filed for divorce from then-husband Ted Griffin. Their divorce proceedings remain ongoing.
Us confirmed in November 2024 that Foster and Jackman were dating. Two months later, Jackman was spotted supporting Foster during the final week of her West Coast performances of Once Upon a Mattress.
Foster and Jackman made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Hollywood premiere of his movie Song Sung Blue in November 2025. The pair went Instagram official that same month.
“@suttonlenore performing during the holidays at @cafecarlyle … now that’s an iconic NYC night! And, truly magical,” Jackman wrote at the time alongside a photo and video of Foster taking the stage in New York City.
