Time to get “Real”! Rapper Ja Rule opened up to Us Weekly about his career and his family while taking the time to get down with a few dance moves.
In his 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me video, Ja Rule, 39, insists he doesn’t know how to “Whip and Nae Nae” before busting out the dance move of the year.
“I was lying to you!” he teases in the clip while dancing. “Do the stanky leg!”
When he’s not showing off his moves, Ja Rule (aka Jeffrey Atkins) is continuing his music career.
“I’m working on it now. New music sometime next year,” he reveals. “I’m taking my time with it. It’s called Genius Loves Company. I’m listening to everything right now. I’m all over the place. My kids are introducing me to new music ‘cause Dad’s, like, old now.”
As for The Rule’s acting career, it’s definitely not over yet!
“Music is my passion, my first love, but I also love acting,” he admits. “I’m just waiting for some more challenging roles.”
