Looks like 30 Rock's Liz Lemon won't have any adventures in babysitting any time soon.
Though series star Jane Krakowski is expecting a bundle of joy, her on-screen character won't be decorating a nursery any time soon.
Krakowski's pregnancy will not be written into the NBC hit.
"No one thinks Jenna would be a fit mother," the actress told E!'s Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet at Sunday's Golden Globes.
30 Rock's executive producer Tina Fey agrees.
"Her character would be the worst mother in the world," Fey told Seacrest. "I think the state would come to the show and take her fake baby away."
Mom-to-be Krakowski had more laughs in store when it came to dishing on her real-life pregnancy.
"We waited a little while, I went behind the middle school, got pregnant, and now we're announcing it to the world," joked the 42-year-old star, who confirmed she's due at the end of April.
The Tony-winning Krakowski, who announced her engagement to British-born clothing designer Robert Godley in early 2010, confirmed her pregnancy Jan. 7.
"Both soon-to-be first-time parents could not be happier," Krakowski's rep told UsMagazine.com.
