Lines that shock even the manliest of men! Entourage wasn’t afraid to push boundaries on its eight seasons on HBO, but as it turns out, the show’s stars were sometimes hesitant to speak their often out-there lines on set. As costar Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold) reveals to HuffPost Live, his character had his fair share of lines that made even Piven blush.
During Piven’s March 25 livestream with the website, the actor, 49, was hesitant at first to even come out with the lines that, uh, crossed the line. “There are a lot of times I’d see the language in the morning [before filming] and go to Rex Lee, who plays Lloyd, and just say ‘Listen, man. I’m going to say ‘If you [didn’t] have so much c-m squirted in your eyes, you’d be able to see what’s in front of your f–king face.” That’s heavy,” Piven recalled. “That’s when you go ‘I can’t say this to him.'”
Piven — currently fronting the third season of PBS’ Mr. Selfridge — will reprise his role as Ari in Entourage‘s jump to the big screen in June. On Tuesday, Entourage executive producer Mark Wahlberg released the highly anticipated first trailer for the film, which picks up on the lives of Ari, E (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), Vince (Adrian Grenier), and Drama (Kevin Dillon) since HBO’s series wrapped.
