Married to Teresa Giudice for more than 10 years years, Joe Giudice isn't afraid to speak his mind around his wife.
That was all too evident on Sunday's episode of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey, when the controversial dad of four daughters slammed his wife's weight — and refused to come to her aid when she injured herself during a camping trip.
Twisting her ankle after going surfing with the Gorgas, Wakiles and Manzos during a trip to the West Coast, Teresa, 40, winced in pain as she iced her injury hours after the incident, but her husband, 42, was oblivious to her cries.
That is, until Jacqueline Laurita got involved and urged him to act. Consoling Teresa as she iced her injury, Laurita encouraged Joe to help his wife return to the RV to rest. Joe obliged, but not before calling his bride "heavy ass."
Joe's jab about Teresa's weight is only the tip of the insult iceberg, however, as a new clip from the August 19 episode of RHONJ reveals that Joe calls her "my bitch wife" and a "c–t" during an ugly phone conversation Teresa overhears.
"Teresa puts on blinders when it comes to Joe," a Giudice insider tells Us Weekly of the cookbook author, who continues to dodge cheating rumors. "It's difficult for her to accept that he's such a scumbag."
