Clarkson was playing to a packed crowd at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Saturday, July 25, when she switched up her usual setlist and broke into a little Swift. Joined by a live band, the American Idol alum busted out a rendition of her fellow pop star's 2014 hit single "Blank Space."

The Grammy winner slowed the pop track down, crooning to a moody piano melody, "So it's gonna be forever / Or it's gonna go down in flames / You can tell me when it's over / If the high was worth the pain / Got a long list of ex-lovers / They'll tell you I'm insane / 'Cause you know I love the players / And you love the game."

Swift was thrilled with Clarkson's cover, tweeting a link to the video of her performance and writing on Sunday, "Kelly Clarkson covered Blank Space and YES."

Clarkson quickly responded, tweeting, "girl I've been covering your songs since 'White Horse'! I love them! I wish they would have requested 'Clean' #favorite :)"
