Kelly Clarkson has an amazing new hype girl. The Grammy-winning singer, 32, offered fans a peek at her latest project with a little help from her daughter River Rose.
Clarkson enlisted her baby girl, 6 months, to tease the upcoming release of her new single "Heartbeat Song."
The American Idol alum tweeted on Friday, Jan. 9, "It's here…the first official #HeartbeatSong teaser!" sharing a video of River to introduce the track. The clip shows the infant in a music studio with a large pair of headphones over her pink-and-white polka-dot hat.
Sitting in an office chair, River kicks her feet, grooves to the music, and smiles, as Clarkson asks, "River, what are you listening to?"
Clarkson then takes the headphones off of her daughter's head and plays the chorus of "Heartbeat Song" as River continues to dance.
The "Stronger" singer welcomed her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock this past June. The new parents tied the knot in October 2013, after the talent manager popped the question in December 2012.
Before starting her family, Clarkson released her last studio album, the holiday record Wrapped in Red, in October 2013. She debuted Stronger, her most recent collection of new music, in October 2011.
Clarkson is expected to release a pop album with influences of "rock, country, R&B, and dance," in the coming months. Take a look at the "Heartbeat Song" teaser in the video above!
