A new addition to the family — but the kind you don’t have to feed. Kim Zolciak celebrates her 38th birthday by surprising her friends with the launch of her Kashmere skincare line on Don’t Be Tardy’s Wednesday, December 7, episode, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek.
The Bravo series’ preview clip shows the star preparing for the shindig and purposely keeping the news of her new company under wraps before the start of the event. Her guests are quite perplexed as to what the big reveal might be.
“Nobody knows about this — I think they think we’re gonna have another baby,” Zolciak tells husband Kroy Biermann. “What they don’t realize is, we are having another baby. It’s just called Kashmere, and it’s a skincare line. I want it to be like an Estée Lauder or Lancôme, like a brand that’s around for a very long time.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum points out that it’s important for her to try her hand at a variety of business ventures, in case the family’s current successes ever dry up. A focus of this season is Biermann, 31, dealing with NFL free agency and the uncertainty of not knowing where he’ll play next.
“I know that the NFL’s not forever, and this s–t ain’t forever, either,” she says while gesturing to the Bravo cameras. “So it’s like, I want this to be an empire for me and for my family.”
The clip also shows an Us reporter interviewing Zolciak at the party, where the star admits to deleting messages from daughter Brielle‘s social media accounts.
