Give the girl her beignets! On the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, family momager Kris Jenner food-shames her expectant daughter, Kim Kardashian, who cannot stop indulging on beignets during her second pregnancy.
The preview shows a concerned Jenner, 60, worrying about Kim’s pregnancy cravings — doughy, powdered-sugar delights that originate from the world-famous Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. Kim, who’s in NOLA for work, is so addicted to the confection that she went to the bakery three times to stock up.
“Do you remember what happened the last time you got all stressed out and you were eating sugary stuff?” Jenner tells her daughter.
“I am way skinnier than last time. I am way healthier than last time,” the mom of North West, 2, replies.
“You’re eating beignets three times a day,” her mom, who herself has six kids, notes. “I was in the kitchen this morning — you had your chef making the beignets because you brought home the beignet mix!”
While Kim laughs off her mother’s remarks, Jenner expresses serious concern for her daughter’s health. “You know what you are? You’re like a closet eater,” the Kardashian family matriarch says. “You need an ankle bracelet that goes every time you eat something bad.”
In a confessional, Jenner explains herself. “Kim has been traveling a lot,” she notes. “I don’t think she understands that . . . she’s got to take care of herself.”
While Kim has been indulging in her favorite foods during her pregnancy, she also has dealt with the consequences. Kanye West‘s wife released a video on her website last week in which she complained about her weight gain. “Ugh, these fat hands, my ring doesn’t even fit,” Kim told her fans in the clip. “I am so tired, you guys, I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”
The new episode of KUWTK will air on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 9 p.m. ET on E!
