Lady Antebellum Gives Sneak Peek of Their CMT Music Awards Performance to Us Weekly

Can’t wait for the CMT Music Awards? Jana Kramer went backstage at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville for Us Weekly and chatted with Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood after they rehearsed for their performance.

When the “I Got the Boy” singer asked the group for a sneak peek of their act, 29-year-old Scott teased, “It’s definitely different, but it’s fun!”

How different? The trio is set to team up with Zedd for an EDM/country collaboration.

Kelley, 33, offered a little bit more detail. “We just wanted to try something different,” he told Kramer, 31. “It’s fun to take yourselves out of your comfort zone, and the CMTs have always done that for us.”

Lady Antebellum is nominated in three categories, and is currently on tour to support their latest album, 747. The CMT Music Awards air Wednesday, June 10, at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.
