The gold never bothered him anyway! As Neil Patrick Harris prepares to host the 87th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 22, he’s going to have the help of some previous Oscar winners.
The Hedwig and the Angry Inch star, 41, will be getting an original song from the songwriting team behind the Oscar-winning hit “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who wrote all of the tunes from the beloved animated classic.
The pair are penning a musical sequence titled “Moving Pictures.” Harris first announced the news on his Twitter account with a video message.
“What they are doing, I am not a liberty to say, but I can tell you that it won’t be a song called ‘Let It O’ with a big giant Swarovski crystal O in the background,” he said. “They’ll be doing something, maybe writing during the show. Who knows?”
