A moment of uncertainty. Little Women: LA couple Elena and Preston have a stressful doctor’s visit in the Lifetime series’ Wednesday, March 2, episode, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The clip shows the married pair, who decided earlier this season that they are ready to start a family, visiting their doctor after Elena gets positive test results on two home pregnancy tests. The doctor verifies that the couple is indeed expecting, and he wants to perform further tests.
“Today, we’re going to confirm that this is a healthy pregnancy, and we expect and we should be able to see a heartbeat today,” Dr. Lee says.
But after conducting the examination, he tells the couple that they may be surprised by what he has discovered.
“Elena, Preston — I want you to brace yourselves,” Dr. Lee continues. “I have some unexpected news for you.”
After the unsettling warning, Elena says to the camera, “I’m freaking out — is something wrong with the baby?”
Us Weekly exclusively announced last week that the pair are expecting twins in June. “We were very shocked!” the mom-to-be told Us about learning that they’re having two babies. “Now we’re happy because it’s like a double blessing. But at first it was a big surprise, and I didn’t even know if I should be happy or I should be concerned or what.”
