Still hangin' tough! Mark Wahlberg staged a long-awaited reunion with the men of New Kids on the Block, including his brother Donnie Wahlberg, on Monday, June 22.
The Ted 2 star, 44, jumped on the stage at New York City's Madison Square Garden, joining his brother, Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, and Danny Wood for the latest stop on NKOTB's Main Event tour with TLC and Nelly.
On the heels of his debut as Marky Mark, the actor did a brief stint as a young teen with New Kids on the Block in the band's first days. He left the group before the boys went into the studio to record such hits as "You Got It (The Right Stuff)," "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)," "Step by Step," and "Tonight."
Special guest 50 Cent introduced Mark at Monday's show to the excitement of the screaming crowd. The Funky Bunch leader embraced each member of the group, posing for photos as he nodded to the audience.
Donnie, 45, took to Instagram to acknowledge the special moment, posting a sweet shot of himself hugging his brother in the midst of the concert.
"Marky Mark retired 25 years ago, but I still loved sharing the stage w my brother @mark_wahlberg tonight!" Donnie wrote of the performer, who hung up his hat with the Funky Bunch after the release of the group's 1992 sophomore album, You Gotta Believe. "Thanks 50!! #MainEvent #NKOTB."
