‘Married at First Sight’ Wife Criticizes Husband for Saying He’s Not in Love: You ‘S–t on It’ — Watch

First comes marriage! Married at First Sight's Tuesday, February 2, episode features newlyweds Vanessa and Tres butting heads after he points out that they're not in love, as seen in Us Weekly's exclusive sneak peek.

In footage from the FYI series, the couple have a heart-to-heart, with Vanessa telling Tres that he appears to be too "lax" about their relationship.

"I really would love it if you could just kind of get more into a husband mentality," she explains.

Tres fires back, replying that he feels he has been doing everything he should to help their marriage progress.

"Honestly, I feel like you want me to be something that you want to build me to be," he tells his wife.

Vanessa then brings up a moment in which Tres made it clear to a friend that they are not yet ready to use the L-word.

"Yes, we are not in love — we are not — but that's the whole point of this thing, so eventually we can," Vanessa continues. "You kind of, like, s–t on it — that was lame, honestly."

Watch their conversation in the video above.

Married at First Sight, produced by Kinetic Content, airs on FYI on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.
