Tempers rise over higher education! Married by Mom and Dad‘s Sunday, January 10, episode features an intense showdown between a woman and her parents, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak-peek clip.
The footage from the TLC series, in which parents pick their adult children’s spouses, shows Marivic Febiar having dinner at a restaurant with her folks, Manny and Edna.
Marivic, a 34-year-old nurse, loses her cool when she feels that her dad isn’t letting her meet one potential husband because the otherwise-eligible man lacks an extensive formal education.
“Your explanation is so weak — is it because he doesn’t have much to go for him, or is it because you suck at talking?” Marivic asks.
