Jesse McBee and wife Alli McBee’s one-year wedding anniversary celebration is anything but cheerful on the upcoming episode of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.
“I wouldn’t say I’m nervous about going on a date with Jesse for our one-year anniversary, it’s just a little, it gets a little hard,” Alli, 30, tells the cameras in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek at the Monday, July 6, episode of the Bravo series.
Alli, who welcomed her first baby with Jesse, 30, in April 2025, admits that although there are “a lot of good” things happening for the family, her relationship with her husband has hit a lull after the birth of their daughter, Summer.
Alli explains that seeing her brother-in-law Cole McBee propose to longtime girlfriend Kacie Adkison hasn’t made her feelings toward Jesse any better.
“Seeing them be so in love and being so happy it takes me back to the beginning when me and Jesse first started dating. We get that spark again. At least I know I do,” Alli reveals in her confessional, referring to Cole and Kacie’s November 2025 engagement, which will be shown on Tuesday’s episode.
During her and Jesse’s anniversary dinner it becomes clear that they are both feeling tension amid their marital issues. (Jesse and Alli tied the knot in October 2024 after more than a decade together.)
“Are we sharing?” Alli asks her husband as they sit down to order dinner. “Why would we share a meal?” Jesse responds in a snippy tone.
After Alli says, “It’s kinda expensive,” Jesse replies, “You’ve been working a lot lately,” adding a little chill to the air between them.
The tension grows between the couple after Jesse calls out Alli for being on her phone.
“I was just on there for two seconds checking on our daughter,” she explains. “I wanted to make sure she was fine.”
Jesse takes a big sigh as Alli tries to break the silence, asking him, “Are you eating your bread without butter? Because you’re not dipping it.”
Jesse fires back, “You focus on your side, I’ll focus on mine.”
Alli doesn’t respond, instead she asks him, “Could you imagine if we were with each other 24/7? You would probably be very annoyed.”
Jesse takes offense to his wife’s claims, alleging, “No, you’d be very annoyed. You already get annoyed if we spend an hour together.”
Alli insists, “That is not true,” as the awkward date continues to spiral out of control.
Jesse then reflects on his and Alli’s recent issues during his confessional, revealing, “I think that I compare our relationship” to those of his brothers, which isn’t helping their relationship.
“I feel like it’s not as good because we’re not touching each other all the time or making out or talking to each other constantly,” Jesse confesses about his dynamic with Alli. “I think that gets the best of me to the point where I’m like, ‘There needs to be some sort of spark or something going on here.’”
Jesse admits, “At this point, I just kinda feel stuck.”
