Seriously, Sam?! Michael Sam totally tweeted a huge (like, mega!) Star Wars: The Force Awakens spoiler — and fans are livid.

The former Missouri Tigers footballer, 25, revealed a major plot twist about the record-shattering sequel via Twitter on Friday, December 18. He quickly deleted the post, and tweeted: "#oops."

Needless to say, fans of the beloved franchise weren't impressed with his so-called apology.

"THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF?!?!?!??!!!!" one person wrote to the Dancing With the Stars alum. A second added: "I don't ever unfollow people and i unfollowed michael sam because spoiling a dearly loved movie for 250k people is evil."

Some were even as brutal to quip that this must be "the most attention" he's received in a while. Sam, who came out as gay in February 2014, was cut by the St. Louis Rams and then the Dallas Cowboys in 2014.
